About us

Littleton Chambers was founded over 50 years ago.

We moved to our current purpose-built premises in 1995 and we have grown to 49 barristers in total including 11 QCs.

Due to the number of specialist counsel in chambers, we are often instructed on both sides of a case. We have a rigorous "Chinese Walls" policy in place to deal with these circumstances (Bar Council approved).

Littleton Chambers is fully committed to the principle of equality of opportunity. It is our policy to treat everyone equally and fairly regardless of their background, racial group, age, colour, ethnic or national origin, nationality, religion or belief, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability or political persuasion.

We hold the ISO 9001 accreditation and strive to give the best possible service to our clients, whether by a practising member of chambers or a member of the administrative staff.

If you should have any concerns about any aspects of the service we give, please raise them in the first instance with Gerard Hickie, CEO or Alistair Coyne, Clerk.
