Mr Martins, who now plays for Wolfsburg FC, was sued by NVA Management Limited, which contended that a letter signed by Mr Martins was a valid contract for payment of £299,167 for work supposedly to be carried out by NVA in connection with an “image rights” provision in his football player contract. The Court held that there was no such valid agreement. Judgment was handed down by the Court on Friday 29th January 2010. |
