The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has upheld a claim lodged by former professional footballer, Mamady Sidibe (who played for, amongst other clubs, Stoke City and Swansea City) in a claim for breach of contract against and the non-payment of his wages by CSKA Sofia.  A counterclaim by CSKA Sofia was rejected by FIFA DRC.

The Head of Littleton’s Sports Law Group, John Mehrzad acted for Mr. Sidibe and was instructed by Fahri Ecvet, Chief Operating Officer, Global Football, and Dominic McKean, Legal Counsel, Global Football at Wasserman, one of the world’s largest sports representation agencies.
